Abbeville will be a hub of kid's summer fun this year! Check back regularly to see what cool new events are being planned then mark your calendars to join in.
July 10-14 | Busy Bees STEM Tales: Fair Tales Science Camp

Join in on all the fun over at Busy Bees Preschool Summer Camp for the tiniest tots ages 1-6.
July 15 | Camp Hippocrates: Mini-Medical School
10:30 a.m., at Erskine College

Are you a rising high school sophomore, junior, or senior interested in the medical field? Come to the Camp Hippocrates Mini-Medical School and learn more about the health care profession. Learn from Erskine College professors and physicians. Enjoy presentations and hands on activities. Enjoy lunch at Moffatt Dining Hall and opt to take online college classes to earn college credit!

The Menace of Meanness is threatening to take over the world and only one super-duo has a chance to stop them – Captain Friendship and the Amazing Amigo! The Menace is a dangerous, shadowy figure who creeps up on our friends when they least expect it, bullying and pressuring them into behaving very badly. Captain Friendship must fearlessly oppose this villain and help all of our young audiences learn that they, too, can master the Menace of Meanness – but it’s going to take all of us working together on “Operation Kindness.”

Abbeville Youth Athletics and Abbeville Parks and Recreation plan to host a FREE kids kickball tournament at Chestnut Street Park. Whether you come to play or watch, it's guaranteed to be a good time. Teams will be picked on site, so grab your friends and head on down.

B-Rad's show is designed to be a unique "kid-friendly" blend of amazing magic and side-splitting comedy. The goal of each show is to make the kids laugh, enjoy themselves, and get excited about reading! The whole crowd, kids, and parents alike, become part of the magic and participate in making it happen.
