Abbeville City Flag Design Initiative

The City of Abbeville has never had a true flag.  Flags have become a popular way to identify cities across the nation.  For this reason, the Abbeville City Council is asking for designs and input from the community!

  • Entries are to city residents only. All ages and artistic abilities are encouraged to participate.
  • Submitted designs should be in 3x5 proportions. Acceptable file formats include jpg, png, or pdf.
  • Submissions must include the applicant’s name, contact information, and a summary of the symbolism used in the design.
  • Entries can be submitted to or through our online form(available soon).
  • Designs should not be plagiarized.
  • Each participant may submit up to three flag designs.
  • All entries will be voluntarily donating their design concepts to the City of Abbeville, and may be modified, reproduced, and published at the City's sole discretion.  No compensation will be given.
