We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Administrative Assistant and Accounts Payable Coordinator

This position performs a wide variety of specialized clerical, accounting and administrative support for the Administrative Services Department.  Applicant will also provide technical and administrative assistance to the municipal court.  Responsibilities include light accounting and various clerical duties and any other related tasks as needed or assigned. 

Qualifications: must have effective communication skills and be capable of providing courteous and professional service to the public in a busy environment, requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with a 2-year Associates degree and at least 3-5 years office or accounting experience, should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word or Excel, must pass a thorough background investigation, pre-employment drug screen and physical examination and must possess a valid SC driver's license with a good driving history.

Starting Salary: $26,996

Police Officer


  • High school diploma/GED

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Must have no criminal record

  • Valid SC Class D Driver’s License

  • Must be able to pass a background and license check, drug screen and medical physical

  • SC Class 1 LE certification preferred, but not required

Pay Range:$28,731 - $30,472 according to experience
